Former Flame Kyle Schwarber Helps Lift the Curse! -

10 months ago, Kyle Schwarber was a rookie phenom and the keynote speaker at the 1st annual Cincy Flames banquet.  Today, he is a World Series Champion.  Schwarber was activated for the World Series after rehabbing a knee injury that he suffered only a few games into the season.  He was used as the team's designated hitter in game played in Cleveland, and the Cubs amassed a 3-1 record in those games.  Kyle now has 16 hits in 44 postseason at bats, good for a .364 batting average.  The future looks bright for the Cubs and Schwarber, and we can't wait to watch it all unfold!  Congratulations to the Cubs and to Kyle - 2016 World Series Champions!!
